Dead lynx was found

Unfortunately, yesterday (5/8/2019) around 10 we received a notification from the Dobrzany Forest District, that on Saturday (3.08) dead lynx was found near Chociwel on railway tracks. The animal was found by members of the "Battalion" Association. On 5 August at around 12 o'clock a local visit took place with the participation of the police. Lynx was sent to the authopsy, which took place around 18.00. The results will be described in a special protocol, probably  the lynx did not die cause of the disease, but many other changes indicate that death was not natural. At this stage, we are not able to clearly state the cause of death - the lynx's body was found in an advanced state of decay. Further research is ongoing.
