We found a dead Lynx

On 24.02.2022, ZTP received an information from Forest Manager of Forest Discrict of Kalisz Pomorski about killed lynx on terrain of Kalisz pomorski. ZTP Employees after confi

Rming the information, arrived at this place and started the investigation of lynx body

Unfortunately, it turned out that this was a female born in the wild!!!!

Futhermore, she was in estrus and nearby there was a male individual, so they could copulate.

There was a high Chance, that she was pregnant! We are frightened by this act of agression towards animals. We started releasing lynxes two years ago and they still didnt receive acceptance from local communities. When crew from ZTP arrived at the given coordinates, they found out a bullet that probably killed the lynx. We hope that Police will find the murderer. Currently there i san investigation.

This event is really sad for us, becausue first of all, Lynx born in the wild was killed, second of all, it is most likely that she was a daughter of Rózia- lynx that was brought by ZTP as first individual. This information was confirmed by genetic research.
